I have herniated discs in my upper back from an accident, and used to be on tramadol and baclofen, but quit the tramadol and immediately started taking 20MG's of baclofen at once to replace the tramadol I was once taking for pain. 20mg's of baclofen at once turned into upwards of 90-100MG's a day for the better part of a year. At the right dosage (which varies depending upon the person (30mg for me, 170 mg for my sister)) it stops the craving to the point that you stop drinking without any effort whatsoever.
