Tomorrow, I'm going to give the tramadol a try to see if I can make it through the day with just one or 2 vicodin - alternating doses with the tramadol. Wish me luck. If I find that I'm unable to get out of bed, I'll be on here begging for encouragement. :) Tramadol can also cause me to hold my breath when I do fall asleep, resulting in me waking up suddenly. This can go on all night. uuuggghhh. This can go on all night. uuuggghhh. Ive tried other meds such as skellaxin, Ibprophen, Soma and Tizanadine, these dont help with the pain. Since tramadol is not really an opioid and it's not as powerful or strong as hydrocodone I should say so yes why not other people have taken worse with the hydrocodone. and 2 hr later a Vicodin witch spun me out witch was not good because i was up walking laps by that time so the next time they gave me perco-. wow i can not believe how much i can not remember. Like I said previously though, Tramadol ended up not working by itself and I have to often times alternate with Hydrocodone (same as Vicodin). Sometimes even alternating and adding extra Hydrocodone. Each day is a mystery for me and there's not really any 1 particular regimen that works well. Norco, Ibuprofen, and Tramadol together are the best pain med combo I have ever tried. They should create a new drug based on these 3. Much better than Oxycontin and methadone. I also got completely addicted to this cocktail, but for pain relief, it's unbeatable. You could probably even mix them at the same time and not have seisures, i know that i have taken both at the same time and been fine (except that it made me feel sick). so i would say it is safe to alternate them. Alternating Vicodin And Tramadol With routes like the Denali Star, Glacier Discovery to Whittier and Coastal Explorer to Seward. the Alaska Railroad is a perfect way to travel.
